 On Friday evenings, for the Erev Shabbat service, we run a childrens' program which begins shortly after the praise and worship portion of the program.  The teachers are volunteers who have a heart for working with children.  We do not, as of this time, have a set curriculum that we adhere to.  Teachers have the discretion to go in whatever direction their heart leads.  Many do Bible Studies while others may focus on upcoming Jewish holidays.  Teachers sometimes bring in movies with a message and often short Biblical videos.  On occasion, people bring in games for a wide range of children.  Normally we cater to children as young as age 5 and as old as age 12.  At times, older children are encouraged to participate, depending on the topic for the evening.  Sometimes teachers share things over which they have a passion, whether it be a career or a hobby.  Some teachers enjoy bringing in crafts for the children to create while teachers have been known to teach musical instruments and even how to dance for Messianic worship.  The program usually begins by 8:30pm and goes until 9:30pm. 

 We ask our teachers to take a Friday evening once every 8 weeks.  Some choose to participate once every 16 weeks.  Others choose to participate only as a substitute if needed at the last moment.  We are always happy to add those members of the congregation who have this heart to work with children.
